The Journey

The 10th Annual Ras Al Khaimah Fine Arts Festival will take place at the Al Jazirah Al Hamra Heritage Village from February 4 - March 31, 2022.

The theme this year is "The Journey" and artists will share their interpretations of that theme through the lens of ancestry, migration, national identity and personal growth. I am very honoured that two of my iPhone artworks, "Change" and "Dissolving",  have been selected to be shown at the festival in large printed format in the desert. 

At the free public openng the sky will be lit with fireworks to commemorate 10 years of this much-loved exhibition as well as the 50th anniversary of the United Arab Emirates.

Festival: 4 February 2022 - 31 March 2022

Grand opening: 4 February 2022. 8:30 pm to 12:00 am

Your Dream is You

Two of my artworks have been selected to be part of the TuMobArt "Your Dream is You" exhibition. This exhibition was due to take place in Istanbul, Turkey, this year.  Because of Covid restrictions the exhibition will no longer take place in person.  Instead it will be held online at the Artsonline Web Art Gallery. 

 

"Infinite possibilities" and "Joy" will be part of the exhibition which will run from 6-26 December 2021.

The exhibition has been organizede by Sukru Mehmet Omur and Hakan Sarihan.

MIRA Mobile Prize 2021 B&W

I am very happy to have my image selected as one of the 150 best classified photographs that will be projected at the Street Photography B&W Mira Mobile Prize 12th edition. The exhibition will take place at the Mira Forum.

New Life Exhibition

"New Life Exhibition", a collective mobile art exhibition curated by Giulia Baita, will take place at Fondazione per l'arte Bartoli Felter in Calgliari, Sardinia, Italy.

I am very happy to be one of the selected artists whose work will be exhibited. 

Giulia will be broadcasting the opening on both her Facebook and Instagram profiles.

Mira Mobile Prize 2021

I'm very happy to share that from thousands of entries from all corners of the world, one of my works has been selected by the jury as one of the 50 chosen pieces that will be exhibited in the MIRA Mobile Prize 2021 exhibition. 150 other highly rated works will be projected at the exhibition, which will this year take place in the marvellous Monastery of Salzedas in Portugal.  The theme this year was "At Home".

A book will later be published with all the selected works.
