Liwa Desert

It is early afternoon and all is quiet.  All is still quiet.

The Liwa Desert gazes back at me from where I sit, and somehow, words seem superfluous when faced with the expanse of sand in front of me.

Instead, it is perhaps appropriate today, to allow the images in this gallery to speak for me.

These pictures are indeed beyond words. So strange to see the woman gazing out at the sand like I might stare out to sea. I hope I can experience this. Thanks for putting the Liwa Desert on my mental map.

Waves of desert - such beautiful stillness, yet incredible movement.
